The grapes are hand-picked in small boxes of 14 kilograms. The local varieties are coming only from our vineyards of low production provide the warm and fruity and Mediterranean character to the wine. The international varieties give volume and freshness that is significant for the future evolution of the wine.
The alcoholic fermentation, maceration, and malolactic are in part done in open barrels. Then AVA Selecciò is moved in new and French oak barrels for 12-14 months to complete the aging process that will provide the complexity desired.
CATA
The main aromas are of red fruits on season with touches of toastiness and spices. The integration with the wood gives complexity and elegance to the wine.
On the mouth the attack is pleasant, and the mouthfeel is full, fruity and round tannins (it improves with the years). The aftertaste is long.
