ANAVA Rosat comes from a single plot, Parcel 40, planted in 1997. The vineyard’s characteristics and the quality of its grapes allow us to create a pale and elegant rosé wine with long aging potential.
The grapes were harvested at the end of August 2020. After the destemming, we directly proceed to a fast and soft press where the juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks for low-temperature fermentation. Controlling the temperature is a key factor in preserving the fruity aromas of the Mantonegro.
Once the fermentation is finished, we proceed to keep the wine on fine lees for two months, creating creaminess. Afterward, the wine begins aging in French oak barrels, where it rests for 8 months before bottling.
TASTING NOTES:
Pale Pink with orange nuances. Clean and bright color. On the nose, there are aromas of ripe red fruit (strawberry and cherry) followed by softer notes of smoke and light spices. On the mouth, the attack is delicate, and the mouthfeel is wide and fresh with red fruits (strawberry and red currant). The aftertaste is long, with refreshing acidity and persistency.
